Round Jersey by Kayak & les Ecrehous Kayak Challenge 2017

Following last years successful round jersey paddle I am planning a second attempt plus, a the challenge of padding to les Écréhous (and back). Whether you choose both or just one of these trips it is essential to get some extra distance training and you must sign up for at least two of the longer Saturday morning sessions and three or more of the kayak club sessions so you are paddle fit. If you cannot attend the Saturday sessions you need to sign up for at least five kayak club trips.

The planned dates for each trip is:

Round Jersey: July 15 Saturday

Les Écréhous: July 1 Saturday. Bad weather alternative 13 August Sunday.

Like last year we know some paddlers may want to use one or both challenges to raise money for charity. As a result both these challenges are free of charge providing you have completed the required training sessions.

Training dates: Saturdays 0930 -1230 May 13, 20, 27, (Sunday June 11), 17. Normal kayak club rates apply.

All your own kit £22.50 You must supply your own kayak, paddle, buoyancy aid and paddle jacket.

Need a kayak and paddle £27. 50 you’ll need to bring your own wet-suit, buoyancy aid and paddle jacket.

Need all the gear supplied by us £32.50.
