Kayak Fishing

Kayak fishing is popular. Mixing two sports can create new problems.

There is more to kayak fishing than just casting.

Kayak fishing is very popular around Jersey. Sit-on-top kayaks enable you to get afloat easily. Explore the coastline, chill out and (hopefully) catch supper!

There is more to sit-on-top kayak fishing than meets the eye. It is not the same as fishing from a pier or a boat. Nor is it the same as just sea kayaking, so it is a good idea to get some training.

Kayak fishing trips

We offer one off trips from various locations.

All equipment is supplied including wetsuits, basic rods/tackle and bait.

Duration: 2.5 hours. Advance booking is essential.

Cost: £45 per person.

Introduction to sit-on-top kayak fishing

Our introductory kayak fishing classes covers both kayak skills and tips to make your fishing trip fun and safe. The course will include handling bait, fish and getting wet.

Previous kayak/fishing experience is not essential.

All equipment including basic fishing rods can be supplied. Your own kayak/fishing kit can be used if you wish.

Your own kayak/fishing kit can be used. We do not supply the fish though we know a good fishmonger!

Students need to supply their own weights/lures/hooks (list supplied). Bait supplied.
