Learn to kayak. Have fun afloat with Jersey Kayak Adventures Ltd, a British Canoe Union and Adventuremark approved centre.
Sit-on-top kayaks are versatile and fun. They allow rapid progression.
To encourage maximum enjoyment and learning a range of children’s sized wetsuits, kayaks and paddles is available.
Opportunity to obtain British Canoe Union Paddle-power awards. This award is specifically designed for young people. The fees are included in the course fee.
Courses will operate from various venues during the week to allow for weather conditions and give young people a broader experience of our fantastic coastline.
The course is run by Mick Cullinane and Krista Hairon. Both have considerable experience working with young people.
For safety this course is run with two staff on the water at all times.
Maximum of 10 students. Children should be water confident and are likely to get wet.

An opportunity for families to learn kayaking skills together.
Single and tandem seat kayaks are available to allow a wide range of ages to get afloat.
All equipment is supplied. To aid learning junior kayaks, paddles, and wetsuits are available for children aged 4 years upwards.
This is a great course for families planing to buy a kayak. All have the opportunity to learn skills and paddle safely together.
The course is staffed by qualified British Canoe Kayak instructors-Mick Cullinane and Krista
