All courses are run by experienced British Canoe Union instructors.
Ratios do not exceed 8 clients to 1 instructor. Extra staff often assists at the start of courses. On specialist courses the ratio is reduced.
1:1 lessons and private sea kayak and sit-on-top classes are available.

Adult Introduction to Sit-on-top sea Sea Kayaking Level 1 Course 2010
For anyone who wants to discover sit-on-top kayaking or has bought a kayak and wants to improve their paddling skills.
All equipment including wetsuits is provided. We will cover rescues, solo paddling and explore our fantastic coastline.
Duration & Dates:
8 weeks starting Sunday September 12th 1000-1230 FULL

Week Long and 3 Morning Kayaking Courses 2010
Looking for a sea kayak or activity holiday in Jersey? Learn sea kayaking and explore the coast on a 3 or 5 days course.
The courses follow a similar structure to our popular level one sea kayak and sit-on-top classes. A great way to have an outdoor adventure holiday in Jersey -even when you live on the island!
Shorter private courses can also be arranged.

Adult Closed Cockpit Sea Kayak Class 2010
Using traditional style decked kayaks this course will provide participants with the opportunity to use sea kayaks which are based on traditional Inuit designs. These
fast and responsive crafts are of a higher performance than sit-on-top kayaks.
The course will cover all aspects of sea kayaking and rescue techniques. Previous experience with sit-on-top or closed cockpit kayaks is useful to get the most out of this course.
As this course is using higher performance crafts the class size will be to a maximum staff student ratio of 1:6.
Opportunity to obtain British Canoe Union awards if required.
All equipment including wetsuits is provided.
