How to Book

We accept credit/ debit card payments and can process your booking by phone.

Once you have made your reservation (and the date/time are reserved for you we will hold this for 14 days) Pay online with our Secure Payment System.

Jersey Kayak and Jersey Walk Adventures 

Booking. No booking is confirmed until Jersey Kayak Adventures Ltd has received full payment, and we have informed you that your chosen dates are available.

Payment: Bookings must be paid in full within 14 days or your reservation.

Cancellation by you or members of of your group. Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before the activity will receive a refund of any deposit or payment already made less £5 to cover administration, credit, debit card and bank charges. Refunds are not possible if you cancel less than seven working days before the start of the activity. Instead a credit note will be issued to use on another date.

No refund will be given for cancellations or no shows on the day of the activity.

The choice of venue and decision to operate is based on the experience of our staff.

Late arrivals. If you are late we will not wait and you be treated as a no show. Payments will not be refunded. Allow time to find the venue, getting stuck behind tractors, finding a parking place etc. Starting points are listed on our Google map link.

Groups. Group numbers and full details must be confirmed when final payment is made in order to obtain any special rates. Group bookings must be paid in advance of the event.

Weather. We live in a maritime climate, rainy weather doesn’t stop us! If rain/wind stops you please do not book. We endeavour to select the best locations for the activity.

Your safety. Any participant under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be able to take part in activities. We reserve the right to exclude any participant for safety reasons at any time. No refund will be given.

All specialist equipment required for the activity will be supplied by us.

Personal protective equipment supplied must be worn when requested by the instructor.

All activities are fully risk assessed and insured, copies are available on request.

A group safety kit including first aid, mobile phone and/or vhf radio is available at all times.

Acceptance of risk.  There will always be some real risk in the adventure activities we offer. Some of these risks might contribute to the loss or damage of your personal clothing/equipment,feelings of discomfort, fear, apprehension, or even accidental injury, illness, or trauma which in extreme but thankfully very rare cases, can be very serious. Kayaking/walking activities are undertaken at your own risk.

Collecting Children from courses and activities. If there is a problem collecting your child then please contact us immediately so that we know what new arrangements you have made. If it becomes necessary for staff to wait for someone to collect a child then we reserve the right to charge for the time-spent waiting/arranging a suitable alternative. We cannot provide transport to or from venues.

Data Protection. We will not sell or give out your personal details or e-mail address to any others without your permission. We may contact you to keep you informed of other courses and events.

Personal belongings. Jersey Kayak Adventures Ltd cannot be held responsible for personal belongings and equipment. Items stored in our vehicles or with our staff is at your own risk. If you take valuables on our activities e.g. jewellery, watches, glasses, non-waterproof cameras etc you do so at your own risk.

Insurance. Jersey Kayak Adventures Ltd is covered to the sum of £5,000,000 for public liability. You may wish to take out your own insurance against personal loss, injury or having to cancel your course/trip.

Cancellation by Jersey Kayak Adventures Ltd. We reserve the right to cancel a course,walk or tour if viable numbers are not reached, adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. If we cannot offer a suitable alternative date, course or venue a full refund will be given.
